This article primarily investigates the application of a double-layer four-mold tire curing press in the curing of semi-steel radial tires. Double-layer four-mold curing refers to the synchronous control of four molds on one curing press. The research results indicate that, compared to traditional single-layer dual-mold curing presses, this double-layer four-mold tire curing press reduces equipment footprint by 41%, increases production capacity by 180% compared to single-layer dual-mold, and reduces energy consumption per tire by 22%.
